The cure for cancer is quite a mind grasp for many. Learning to cure cancer can be very overwhelming if taken too seriously.
Yes, curing cancer is a serious issue. I mean it is the 2# killer in the US! Nothing to shrug a shoulder at, however I needed to talk about something more... fun as well!
So, let's begin!
Did you know that healthcare is the highest expense for countries in most of the world?
The world spent just over 50 Trillion in 2013 on healthcare. Of that 50 trillion, 4 trillion of if was spent by the United States of America. That is 10% of the world spending on healthcare was spent by the US... wow!
So, since the US spends the most on healthcare by far, we must have the best health care in the world. I mean if the dogma "you get what you pay for" stays true in this case, then the results should give us some outweighed benefits from other countries, right?
Let's take a look at the life expectancy of some of the major countries.
Monaco is 1st in Life Expectancy with an average life expectancy of 89.57 years of age.
3rd - Japan - 84.46
10th - Australia - 82.07
20th - Iceland - 81.22
33rd - Malta - 80.11
39th - South Korea - 79.80
42nd - United States - 79.56

Additionally, of the $8,745 that every American spends on healthcare every year on average, $3,973 is spent by the government. (The rest is insurance premiums, deductibles, and social security.)
This is the same amount that most country's governments pay per person that have National healthcare provided solely by the government. (I.E. Great Briton, France, Canada.)
It is obvious that the US has a lot of work to do, but beyond the obvious, where is all that extra money going? Most of it is going to drugs and treatments that are obviously not getting the job done. For instance, chemotherapy.
Many other countries have banned use of chemotherapy and use alternative methods for many other disorders as well.
I propose that those other alternative methods may not only be remarkably less expensive but more effective as well, therefore increasing the average life expectancy, a feat the US is loosing more and more ground on.
Ok, if chemotherapy does not cure cancer, than what does?
That is what you came here to find out and I love to help people with that.
Challenge # 7 - Comment below: What do you know about chemotherapy? Do you think the body can be made better and cured of cancer by bombarding it with poison?
Extra Credit - If you have been diagnosed with cancer or you know someone who is, call or email me and ask any question you would like. I am here to help anyone and everyone. It is what I love to do.
